| Abstract: | Under seismic action, mode decomposition method is mostly used in seismic response analysis, we can select part modes to represent the whole structure response by using this method .In this paper an effective method is suggested to select proper mode number, additionally, mode directional factor and determination of torsional mode are also mentioned. |
