格兰-汤姆逊棱镜对单模高斯光束的影响

摘    要:根据光在格兰-汤姆逊棱镜胶合层中的干涉效应,分析了棱镜对单模高斯光束光强分布的影响.结果表明:对于正入射的单模高斯光束,若棱镜结构角、光学胶折射率和胶合层的厚度三者固定其二,透射光束光强分布将随另一参量的变化作周期性振荡,同时,透射光束的形状也会发生改变;但当固定胶合层厚度及棱镜结构角时,透射光束光强分布随光学胶折射率变化的振荡曲线存在一个平坦区,即当胶合层折射率在1.4655—1.5153时,棱镜对单模高斯光束光强的影响小于1%.

Effects on Single-mode Gaussian Beam of Glan-Thompson Prisms

Abstract:Based on the interference effects happened at the cementing layer of Glan-Thompson prisms,the transmitting characteristics of single-mode Gaussian beam passing through the prisms are analyzed.The results are as follows:for normal incident single-mode Gaussian beam,if the structure-angle,the refractive index of the optical cement,and the thickness of cement layer of the prisms,two of the three are given,the transmission light intensity oscillates with the other one,and the shape of Gaussian beam is also changing;besides,when the thickness of cement layer and the structure angle is given,there is a flat region in the oscillate curve of transmission light intensity with the refractive index of cement layer,i.e.when the refractive index span in 1.4653—1.5153,the effect of prisms to the light intensity of single-mode is less than 1%.
