知识经济时代的到来对高校的人才培养提出了更高的要求 ,高校应重视大学生创新素质、人文素质、思想道德素质和身心素质的教育 ,努力探索大学生素质教育的实现形式 ,通过积极推进高等教育产业化 ,努力构建大学生素质教育运行机制 ,大力提高高校教师素质 ,不断完善高校大学生素质教育评价机制的建设等 ,使大学生素质教育落到实处 ,为知识经济社会造就大批高素质人才

Knowledge economy and the quality education of university students

The author of this paper argues that institutes of higher learning should place more emphasis on cultivating in university students qualities of creativity, of humanity, of morality, of physicality and mentality to meet the increasing demands required by the arrival of the era of knowledge economy. Specific approaches to the realization of quality education are recommended. They are: industrializing institutes of higher learning; structuring the operating mechanism of quality education; upgrading the qualities of the teaching staff; and improving the evaluative mechanism of quality education.
