| Abstract: | In designing of distributed database system(DDBS), the problem of data allocation has direct effect on availability, reliability, and efficiency of data access of application system. In this paper, the principles and applications of four kinds of data allocation methods are analysed and their respective advantages and disadvantages are also compared with each other by using a simple example based on the criterion of communication expenses. |
