| 摘 要： | 数字编码技术日臻成熟为在交通领域内的广泛应用创造了一定基础。文章总结了数字编码技术的发展和特点，介绍了MPEGⅡ在高速公路图像传输的应用。通过对MPEGⅡ编码技术中关键技术的分析，对其应用中面临的实际问题进行了研究，并提出了解决问题的方案。

| Abstract: | Digital coding technology is becoming perfect and is being used widely in transportation.This article has summarized the development and characteristics of digital coding and introduced the application of MPEGII in the image transmission in highways.This article,after an analysis of key techniques in MPEGII coding technology,has studied some actual problems in application and put forward some solutions. |
