| 摘 要： | 在经历了20世纪的两次世界大战之后。英国作家威廉·戈尔丁亦对人性产生了怀疑，坚持人性本恶的说法。在其长篇小说《蝇王》中，戈尔丁通过象征手法和神话的主要叙述技巧表现了善与恶、理智与冲动、文明与野蛮的矛盾冲突，展现了在人类文明、法制缺失后所出现的混乱以及小说人物的兽性，从而揭示了性本恶。笔者将在前人研究的基础上，进一步探索《蝇王》的主题，一方面肯定并阐释了戈尔丁在《蝇王》中揭示的人性恶的主题，另一方面提出该作品中隐含了救赎的主题。
