中国近代轧棉业的发展

本文对中国近代手工轧棉业和动力机器轧棉业的发展进行了分析,提出近代轧棉机经历了由引进到仿制和革新的道路;轧棉业以及棉花打包业的早期发展主要是由于棉花出口的推动力,特别是日本棉纺织业对中国棉花的需求,动力机器轧棉业的建立和发展与国内棉纺织工业的发展紧密相联。早期的棉纺织厂多配备轧棉机,设轧花车间或轧花工场,自行轧花供本厂纺纱之用,有些轧花厂直接发展为棉纺织厂。

THE DEVELOPMENT OF COTTON GINNING INDUSTRY IN MODERN CHINA

In this paper, the development of hand-operated and power-driven cotton ginning machines in modern China was analysed. The growth of the power-driven cotton ginning machines went through the stages of introducing, imitation and improving. The early development of cotton ginning and cotton baling press was promoted by the cotton export, especially by the need of Japanese cotton mills for Chinese Cotton. The foundation and development of power-driven cotton ginning industry depended fundamentally on the growth of domestic cotton textile industry. In the early stage of the development of textile industry of modern China, a cotton ginning shop had been attached to a cotton mill. Some of cotton ginning factory had directly grown a cotton mill.
