| 摘 要： | 利用光纤中ＳＯＰ（ｓｔａｔｅｏｔｐｏｌａｒｉｚａｔｉｏｎ）在ｐｏｉｎｃａｒｅ球上变换的理论，推得被测单模光纤主轴的取向及双折射率与实验可测量的函数关系，同时给出一种判断双折射主轴名称的方法。最后测得上海硅酸盐所一般单模光纤的拍长约为１ｍ。

| Abstract: | The optical birefringence measurement has been presented.All the related formu'as with arguments measured in experiment are deduced using the theory of Poincare Sphere. The experimental results agree with the theoritical analysis perfectly. |
