摘    要:电影《美食、祈祷和爱》(Eat,Pray&Love)是一部关于美国著名女作家伊丽莎白·吉尔伯特(Elizabeth Gilbert)在婚姻和情感遭遇挫折后,通过在意大利享受美食,在印度祈祷冥想。在印度尼西亚施子爱、获得爱而最终明白生活真谛的作品,其心灵的成长在充满衰落、冲突、贫困和异域风情的空间中得以实现。因此,影片旅行空间的表征模式具有政治的策略性.伊丽莎白的在场是一个能指,是获取认同、传播美国文化价值的符号。

Abstract:The film Eat, Pray &Love is on a famous American female writer Elizabeth Gilbert, who quests for the true self by eating in Italy, praying in India and falling in love in Indonesia after her tough divorce. However, her self-discovery is placed in the spaces full of decadence, poverty and exotic landscapes, which are thus represented to encode Elizabeth's travel, and Elizabeth is a signifier to the American culture and values.
