| Abstract: | The composition and structure of insect community in bulk-stored barley are tested with trap detectors. The results indicate that there are 13 species of stored grain insects. The dominating species are Cryptolestes ferrugineus and Oryzaephilus surinamensis, accounting for 41.25% and 40.47% of the tested insects respectively. The accessory species are Sitophilus zeamais, Troctes divinatorius, Tribolium castaneum, Rhizopertha dominical, etc. Using the formulas by Shannon-Wiener, the patterns of vertical distribution of 8 species are also studied, the diversity indices (H'), evenness (J') and richness (S) of the insect community are measured. |
