| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the learner autonomy on the part of some first-year English majors.The survey,aiming to find out factors facilitating or hindering students' autonomous learning,focuses on students' motivation and confidence in English learning as well as their attitude towards autonomous learning and their use of learning strategies.These studies may bring about some enlightenment on EFL teaching in the Chinese context. |
