Abstract:The energy storage system plays a key role in ensuring the stable operation of the power system in the microgrid. Because renewable energy power generation has many uncertain factors, such as the randomness and volatility which will badly impact on the grid-connected operation of the microgrid. In response to the above problems, in order to improve the power quality of the microgrid and reduce the fluctuation of the DC bus voltage, an improved Active Disturbance Rejection (ADRC) integrated energy storage control system composed of super capacitors and batteries was proposed. Based on the working conditions of the bidirectional DC/DC converter of the energy storage system, the constant current charging and discharging of the energy storage control unit was realized to make up for the defects of the traditional PI control system, and the model was built on the Matlab/Simulink simulation platform. The simulation results show that, compared with traditional PI control and traditional ADRC control system, while ensuring the stable operation of the power grid, the smoothing effect of DC bus voltage fluctuation can be achieved better by this control strategy, and the dynamic response of the system is also improved.
