| Abstract: | This paper commends on the measures to decrease the transitionmetal ions in unbleached pulp by means of pretreatment prior to bleaching, to manage radicals and protecting carbohydrate with the addition of chemical agents during bleaching. In this way we can gain an obvious improvement in bleaching selectivity, in bleaching efficiency and in minimizing effluent pollution from bleaching mill. |
