| 摘 要： | 字符识别技术是模式识别领域非常活跃的一个分支，同时也是汽车车牌识别系统中的一项关键技术．该文结合汽车牌照自身的特点，以数字图像处理技术为依托，详细讨论了车牌字符识别技术的原理，并重点研究了车牌字符中非汉字字符的处理．

| Abstract: | The technology of character recognition is a extraordinary part of the Pattern Recognition field as well as the key to Vehicle License Plate Recognition system. In recent years, numbers of individual plates have increased in our country, which makes the distribution of the characters change. In the Vehicle License Plate Recognition system, we need computer to process the information in order to obtain the final result. This paper discusses the theory of character recognition and emphasizes the processing of non - Chinese characters based on the digital image processing technology. |
