| Abstract: | In this paper, proposals in the following areas of turbogenerator torsional oscillation (TTO) researches in China are presented: * Concerning the focal points of TTO studies; * Concerning the modelling and data acquisition of TTO; * Concerning the computation and analysis of TTO transients; * Concerning the monitoring and analyzing devices of TTO; * Concerning the countermeasures against TTO. It is concluded that researches centered on torsional oscillations caused by system disturbances and swithching events should begin as early as possible. |
