Abstract:This paper describes the microimaging theory for laser beam scanning oftwo dimensions. The optimal design for laser beam scanning microimaging system oflarge visual field and high resolution is researched with the picture element density of500 pixels/mm. The relationships among the magnifying power of picture, the visualfield of scanning and the density of picture element are discussed. And the technical linesfor improving density of picture element and increasing visual field are designated.
