太行山猕猴掌面花纹嵴数的性差

摘    要:用太行山猕猴掌面花纹嵴数变量建立性别判别函数。测量25例(雌17例,雄8例)太行山猕猴掌面指间Ⅱ-Ⅳ区花纹的嵴数。用SPSS13.0统计软件进行多变量分析.选择掌面纹线脊数变量建立性别判别函数。结果表明:10项变量中有5项在雌雄之间达到显著性差异(P0.05),太行山猕猴的掌面花纹嵴数具有明显的性差,性别的正确的判别率为88.0~100.0%.

Abstract:The goal of this study is to develop discriminant function equation for sex determination by counting ridges on the palmar pattern of Macaca mulatta from the Taihang mountains.The data used in this study is obtained from 10 variables on palmar dermatoglyphics of 25 individuals(17 females and 8 males)of known sex,but of unknown age.All measurements are taken on palmar pattern from the right and left hands,whenever possible.Using SPSS13.0 for windows the data is analyzed,and the discrimnant functions are used to study the sexual dimorphism of the ridge count.Results show that males tend to have a significantly more ridge counts than females in the patterns of interdigital Ⅱ-Ⅳ areas on the palm.For the discriminant functions derived,accuracy of sex determination ranges from 88.0% to 100.0%.
