On the Details of the Lagrange Multiplier Methods and the Possibility of Considering Some of Them as a Criterion of Constraint Conditions of Variational Principles

The differences between the method of undetermined Lagrange multiplier and the mehod of identified Lagrange multiplier are discussed,the two existing experiential identification ways of Lagrange multipliers are sumed up, the problem of the uniqueness of the identification is posed, the prerequisite of the unique identification is suggisted and, finally, the possibility of considering some of the methods of Lagrange multiplir as a criterion of the existence of constraint conditions of variational principles in elasticity is discussed.
