| 摘 要： | 调解是重要的纠纷解决方式，是中国特色的法制传统。对其进行历史考察，分析它在中国社会长期存在的原因及在现代社会中所起的作用，在追求社会和谐、全面协调发展的大背景下，对恰当处理当前各种主体利益冲突引发的复杂纠纷具有启示作用。

| Abstract: | Mediating is an important way of settling disputes as well as a Chinese tradition of legal system. A historical study of mediation in China along with an analysis of the reason that mediation has long being existing in China and it＇s function would be helpful to settle the complicated disputes caused by conflicts among various bodies, especially in the background that people are pursuing harmony and comprehensive development of the society. |
