The information equity is the label of information society,and public library plays an indispensable role in bridging the digital divide,maintaining the information equity and building the harmonious information society.By analyzing the concept of information equity and its three dimensions,the article leads to a relationship between public library and information equity,and proposes the approach which public libraries should take to protect information equity system and institutions.
