| Abstract: | This paper discusses the application of the English animal words in the fields of sciences such as astronomy,zoology,botany,medicine,military affairs,technology and anthroponymy,in idioms such as similes,aUusions,words in pairs,proverbs and mottos,and in literary works such as poems,nursery rhymes,fables and titles,with their rudimentary lin- guistic analysis simultaneously being made. |
