| Abstract: | The elastic simply-supported beam with lumped mass at its midst is an ideal mechanical model for engineering measuring and dynamic design of mechanical parts. There is an important significance to calculate their basic and higher natural frequencies. This paper gives out the methods calculating these frequencies-exact method and matrix iteration method. After that, for an example this paper gives five front natural frequencies and does analysis of accuracy. |
