| Abstract: | A measure function is introduced to determine the scaling factor and the parameter of the self scaling variable metric updates.A pair of optimal parameters are obtained by minimizing the measure function provided that the updating matrice preserves the positive definite property.The optimizer is global unique,and the resulting foumula is self dual. |
