Abstract:In recent years, as an important lifeline project carrying urban arteries, underground utility tunnel projects have emerged in large numbers.The research on its seismic performance and seismic response has become one of the hot topics of underground structure engineering. Firstly, the seismic damage phenomenon and seismic analysis methods of underground utility tunnel are briefly introduced. Then, based on a large number of typical practical projects in China, the underground utility tunnel projects are classified according to the pre construction pilot, construction pilot and non construction pilot projects, and the characteristics of the underground utility tunnel are summarized. Then, the amount of papers published on the seismic response of the underground utility tunnel in China is briefly analyzed .Finally, according to the characteristics of underground utility tunnel engineering, the research status and progress of seismic response of underground utility tunnel are elaborated from the perspectives of foreign and domestic (model test, site conditions, seismic wave, prefabricated structure et al other numerical simulation). The main research results at present are summarized, and the deficiencies and problems of existing research are pointed out, and some suggestions for the future research direction are put forward.
