突破与转折——1906年清政府参加米兰国际博览会浅析

1906年,清政府应意大利驻华使馆之邀,赴米兰参加米兰国际博览会。这次出洋赴赛活动,是首次由中国人自主完成的参加世界博览会事务。此次赴赛的成功,不但告别了由洋人把持中国参加世博会的历史,更开创了博览会在晚清中国发展的新时代。因此,对1906年清政府参加米兰国际博览会事宜进行探讨和研究,不但具有一定的历史价值,更具有一定的现实指导意义。本文拟就笔者所掌握有关史料,对该会做一简要评析。

Breakthrough and Transition——A Brief Analysis of the Event of Qing Participating Milan International Exposition in 1906

In 1906,the Qing government attended the Milan International Expo with the invite of the Italian embassy in China.This activity traveling abroad to Milan is the first unaided affair completed by Chinese in the World Expo Affairs.The triumph of this activity not only bidded farewell to the history dominated by foreigners to participate the World Expo,also set in the new development era in the late Qing Dynasty of China.Therefore,the study of the fair not only has a certain historical value,but also has some practical guidance significance.In this paper the author will make a brief analysis about the World Expo using the related materials.
