摘    要:本文从LED和LD的特点和器件已达到的性能与水平展望其应用前景,目前LED和LD已在光纤通讯,显示器件,光存储,办公现代化,医疗,军事,检测等领域得到广泛应用显示出其蓬勃发展的应用前景。

Abstract:Based on the present situation and development of devices with light emitting diodes(LEDs) and laser diodes(LDs) and their features, application prospects of LEDs and LDs are expounded in this paper. At present, LEDs and LDs are widely used in the fields of optic-fiber communication, display devices, optical storage, office automization, medical treatment, military and testing, etc., which manifests a vigorous future of LEDs and LDs.
