| Abstract: | This paper constructs an example which shows that the projection sequence of a Fredholm operator being uniformly bounded does not imply that the family of all finite sums of the projections {P_i} is uniformly bounded. And therefore it helps solve a problem posed by P. Lung and J. Locker. |
