| 摘 要： | 和"上"相比,"下"的研究始终处于不充分的状态,而作为核心词汇,对"下"的研究应该具有不亚于"上"的意义。"下"的基本意义是位置在下的,是名词,由此引申出了多种意义和用法,从空间领域投射到质量、等级、时间等多个领域,在用法上也引申出形容词、动词等多种用法。而引申的途径和手段主要是隐喻和转喻,也包括语境吸收、语义融合等其他方面。

| Abstract: | Compared with "shang",the research about "xia"is still have many insufficiencies.As a nucleus-word,the research about "xia" should be significative as "shang".This paper is based on abundant corpus,through diachrony analyze the evolvement of the meaning and usage of "xia" and try to explain it based on the metaphors theory. |
