A new designing and implementing method for the diagramatical design tool of design structure diagram

Design Structure Diagram(DSD) is a diagrammatic design tool applied in large-scale,real-time and concurrent software designing. It is more structurized,more expressive,and deeply reflects some fundamental principles of software engineering than other diagrammatic tools. DSD editor is a syntax-directed editor which is based on DSD. This editor can be widely applied in many fields, such as software design,program understanding,software maintenance,complexity measurement,etc. We introduce DSD and its editor,then focus on the discussion of its design principles,system structure, work procedure and its implementing method.
