澄清室内液-液分相的研究

摘    要:从分析澄清过程中三个不同层次的速度分布出发,认为重力沉降是分相的主要推动力。以凝聚层厚度趋向零作为设计澄清器长度的标准,依次推导出一组方程式来计算澄清时间。当此时间大于或等于Jeffreys和Davies用理论分析得到的凝聚时间时,该设计被认定是合理的。用上法设计了一套带有锥形放大沉降面积和浅底的澄清室,经实践证明与理论计算相当吻合。

Abstract:Granted that the gravity is the main driving force responsible for the phase separation, a mathematical model for the estimation of the settling time would be possibly established from the analysis of the velocity distribution. If the thickness of emulsion wedge turns to be negligible and the settling time obtained from the given model is equal or more than the coalescence time of droplets described by Smith and Davies, a designing processed in this way seems justified. Based upon the established model, a true settler with a horizontal area of top shape and shellow depth based on the mathematical model has been designed and used with success in practice.
