On Adjective Classification with Timeliness and Evaluation as Coordinate

From semantic aspect the paper discusses the nature, state and change of adjectives. In the classification with timeliness and evaluation as coordinate the four types of adjectives a, b, c, d present the features of timeliness and evaluation. The study shows the semantic feature of adjectives is restricted by the semantic feature of the evaluation object, the subjectivity and objectivity of evaluation, and timeliness of adjectives. In the specific context these elements are necessary for the realization of the ideographic function. In different contexts the same adjective has different timeliness and evaluation.
