Abstract: | Summary Tabtoxins, dipeptides that induce chlorosis in plants, are produced by several closely related phytopathogenicPseudomonas spp. Culture filtrates from these bacteria and extracts prepared from leaves of their hosts contain multiple enzymes that hydrolyze the peptide bond of the toxins. |
