论周行己

北宋末年温州人周行己 ,是洛学创始者程颐的学生。因他生长于商品经济比较发达的温州 ,加上又受过新学、吴学的薰陶 ,使他重视实用之学 ,具有先进的货币思想 ,成为南宋永嘉事功学派的先驱 ,对温州学术文化作出了贡献。

On Zhou Xingji

Zhou Xingji, a native of Wenzhou in Late Song Dynasty, was a disciple of Cheng Yi, one of the founders of the Luo Learnings. Since Zhou Xingji was born in Wenzhou where the economy was relatively well developed and received the teachings of the New Learnings and Wu Learnings, he attached much importance to the Real Learning. He not only had an advanced thought of money currency but also became a pioneer of the Southern Song Yongjia Practice and Achievements School. His contributions to the enriching of Wenzhou academic culture turned out to be very lmportant.
