The Enlightenment of Mao Zedong’s Management Thought to the Periodical Reading Room in University Library

Mao Zedong thought, which contains much management philosophy and infinite charm, can be called a miraculous flower of management science. Starting from the analysis of competitive environment of traditional library, through understanding Mao Zedong’s classical management thoughts and Mao Zedong’s great proverbs, this paper attempts to effectively apply the essence of Mao Zedong’s management thought into the daily management of university library’s periodical reading room from the angles of decision-making management, reader service and librarian team construction.
