| Abstract: | A number of geometrical curves have been used to form the wraps of scroll compressor. The effects of the involute curves composed of circles, square and segments of arcs on the geometrical parameters and leakage wire length of a scroll compressor are analyzed when the pressure ratio, scroll wrap height and thickness and the displacement volume being constant. The variation trend of theses effects with the change of the displacement volume is also discussed. |
