Analysis and Practice of the Resolving Methods to the Y2K Problem

Millenium Bugs were born with thousands of programs and databases throughout the world that store the year in a 2-digit field. So there occurs the problem of how to signify the year 2000 to a computer program in a 2-digit field in a methodical manner. Described in this paper are a few major solutions to the Y2K problem, which are followed by the analysis of their features ,complications and costs. At last the practice at solving the problem is introduced.
