The Qianlin Mountains are situated in the north-west part of Guiyang City.There are many species of plant and complex types of vegetation in the area The vegetation of Qianlin Mountains are divided into 4 groups of vegetation type,13 formation groups,14 formations and 24 association groups· The regularities of vegetational distribution is governed by four factoes 1.Vegetation distribution is governed by the factor of horizontal zone, 2.Vegetation distribution is governed by the properties of the basement rocks and the soils, 3.Vegetation distribution is governed by individual va- riation of topography, 4.Vegetation distribution is governed by human activities.
