| 摘 要： | 由于译者疏于对译名原则和国家标准的考证，不同媒体、不同地域对欧美人名进行重译、胡译、甚至乱译的现象频频发生，导致同一外国人拥有不同汉语译名。这无疑阻碍了读者获取信息的渠道。妨碍了文化间的正常交流，因此重新规范人名翻译并制订具体的细则显得尤其必要。通过具体分析重译、胡译、乱译现象可知，要从根本上解决译名混乱问题，各界人士必须协同合作，遵守译名制度规范，加强标准化意识，同时语言文字工作委员会、编辑出版部门和翻译工作者还应采取具体措施，以确保人名翻译规范化。

| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the various causes for the random and casual practice in translating Westerners' name.It maintains that concerted efforts must be made to observe the rules and norms regarding the translation of foreign names and enhance public standardization-awareness in order to eradicate the chaos arising therein and some suggestions for the solution are put forward. |
