Abstract:Polymers containing substituted azobenzene groups have been widely investigated as promising systems for various applications such as optical switching devices,hight density data storage,nonlinear optics,and solar battery.4-(phenlyazo)-1-naphthyamine(DO7),4-4-(phenylazo)-1-naphthyazo]-p-phenol(DO13),and PGMA(polyglycidylmethacrylate)-DO13 were synthesized and were characterized by EA,1H-NMR,MS and FT-IR.The DSC,TG,UV-Vis,luminescence and fluorescence spectrum of PGMA-DO13 were examined.
