卧龙自然保护区华南豹的食性研究

通过华南豹的粪便分析，表明它常捕猎的食物是毛冠鹿（Ｅｌａｐｈｏｄｕｓｃｅｐｈａｌｏｐｈｕｓ），而后被竹鼠（Ｒｈｉｚｏｍｙｓｓｉｎｅｎｓｅ）所取代．其食谱以１５种大中型兽类所组成，偶食一些雉类、家畜、草和泥土．食谱变化的原因可能与它们捕食的几率有关，或因竹子开花死亡捕食行为发生了改变，而与捕食的难度和效率有关．

THE DIET HABITS OF THE ASIATIC LEOPARD(Panthera pardus fusea)IN WOLONG NATURAL RESERVE,SICHUAN PROVINCE, CHINA

The paper offers an analysis of the feces of the Asiatic lcopard(Panthera pardus fusea),which shows that the leopard often preys on the tuft deer(Elaphodus cephalophus)and later,on thebamboo rat (Rhizomys sinense).Its diet is composed of fifteen large and medium- size mainals with occasionalchange of other animals such as pheasant,livestock,grass or even dirt in place of the mammals. The reason fordietary shifts,or the change of hunting behaviour may be related to the hunting opportunities,or to the preyavailability and hunting efficiency caused by a bamboo die-off.
