通识教育的理念、困难和模式探讨

近年来,中国高校普遍意识到当前高等教育单纯强调专业教育的不足,并结合自己的特点对通识教育展开了积极有效的探索,初步形成了以复旦大学、中山大学、北京航空航天大学等为代表的多种模式。但尚无任何一种模式成为国内通识教育的主导或成熟模式。由于对通识教育的理念存在分歧,对开展通识教育的困难估计不足,通识教育在理论和实践中改革的探索空间依然巨大,发展通识教育应当是中国高校长期的任务。

Discussion on Philosophy,Difficulties and Models of General Education

In recent years, most Chinese universities and colleges have been aware of the inadequacy of pure emphasis on profes- sional education in current higher education. Combined with their own characteristics, they have carried out active and effective exploration into general education; and various models represented by FuDan University, Sun Yat-Sen University and Beijing U- niversity of Aeronautics ＆ Astronautics have come into being. However, none of these models is the mainstream or mature one in national general education. Due to the disagreement in the philosophy of general education and theunderestimation of the difficul- ties in developing general education, there is still immense space for the reform and exploration of general education both in theo- ry and in practice. Development of general education should be the long-term task of Chinese universities and colleges.
