Key Technologies of FOD Detection System for Runway

Foreign Object Debris is material that may damage aircraft,such as fragment,big object and so on.Now manual detection method of domestic and international runway has two shortcomings.Firstly,it is not real-time.Secondly,it must reduce traffic follow.Foreign Object Debris detection system can not only ensure safety of flight but also efficiently manage runway.The paper introduces existed Foreign Object Debris detection systems,and then discusses the key technologies of video FOD detection system.
