认知隐喻修辞及文化的关系研究

摘    要:传统的隐喻修辞仅仅强调语句的修辞作用,忽略了其文化认知内涵。从认知语言学的角度看,隐喻的起源和发展与人类的认知是密切联系的,人类活动中语言的使用不仅是符号特征的表现,更重要的是文化因素的具体反应。认知隐喻修辞的研究是揭开这种关系的最好佐证。

Abstract:Metaphor is one of the most useful rhetoric devices in language learning.Traditionally metaphor limits its study in the figure of speech without much concern of culture.The paper is intended to figure out the connections among the cognition,metaphor and culture with the objective of emphasizing the fact that language is not just a sign but also a symbol of culture.The study of cognitive metaphor is a good illustration of this relation.
