胶合木结构的发展、应用及展望

Development, application and prospects of glulam structures

The development history and the background of timber structures of China were reviewed.The enormous pressure from environmental protection was also described.The necessity for the use of green building and green construction technology was stated.It was noted that wood was a kind of renewable resource,and glued laminated timber(glulam)structures had gained an extensive use for its green property and high performance.The application fields of glulam structures had covered the large-span public buildings and bridges.It was familiar to the developed countries and appeared some large scale glulam structures in China in recent years.Furthermore,the design and the fabrication level were rapidly improved.Finally,it was pointed out that glulam structures had a good prospects in China.
