乙醇水溶液折射率反常现象的实验研究及其机理分析

摘    要:利用阿贝折射仪测定了不同浓度下乙醇水溶液的折射率,根据实验数据得出了乙醇水溶液的折射率与其浓度的关系图.结果显示,乙醇水溶液的折射率与其浓度之间呈非线性的关系,即乙醇水溶液的折射率随其浓度呈先线性上升后线性下降的趋势,在这一关系中存在着明显的极值点.从微观的角度对这一极值点反常现象做出了解释,认为乙醇水溶液体系在低浓度和高浓度时受氢键的影响分别产生链状和面状两种不同的刚性团簇,由于这两种组团的稳定性不相同,进而导致折射率在不同浓度区间内的变化规律存在明显差异.这一结论在能源、制药、生物技术等领域具有一定的参考和应用价值.

Abstract:By using Abbe Refractometer,the author measured the refractive index of ethanol aqueous in differentconcentrations,and Based on the experiment data,obtained the relation graph between its refractive index andconcentration. It was found that the relation is nonlinear,and the refractive index ascended first and then descendedwith its concentration increased. There is a distinct extreme point. The author explained the abnormal phenomenonof this extreme point from microscopic perspective,suggested that the ethanol aqueous system derived chain-likeand planar rigid clusters respectively in low and high concentrations. The different stability of these clustersresulted in the obvious differences of changing regularities of refractive index in different concentration sections.This experiment conclusion may have reference meanings and applied values in such areas,energy,pharmacy andbiotechnology.
