Li Erqu's concept of practical knowledge of managing state affairs holds that what one has learned should be put into practice personally,which is of great advantage to the idealist philosophy of the Song and Ming dynasties.With the spirit advocated in Four Books and based on the philosophical concept of practical knowledge of managing state affairs that is applicable in Ming dynasty,Li Erqing put forward the theory about the relation between Neo-Confucianism and economy,and practiced it by lecturing,by which he proposed the unique concept of practical knowledge of managing state affairs in the history of Chinese Confucianism.
