摘    要:卤烃(尤其溴烃)和水合氧化镁对聚丙烯(PP)具有协同阻燃作用,在含80phr 水合氧化镁的 PP体系中,添加 10 Phr 六溴环十二烷(HBCD),可使氧指数(OI)达到 34%,阻燃性能从 G84 609—84/FV—2 级提高到 GB4 609—84/FV—0级。本文中着重研究其协同阻燃机理,提出了碱性水合氧化镁促进溴烷释出 HBr,HBr可与水合氧化镁分解的氧化镁生成 MgBr_2,后者又与水合氧化镁脱出的水汽作用,重新生成HBr,从而延长HBr在燃烧区域的停滞时间,是产生这种协同阻燃效应的原因。

Abstract:The halohydrocarbon (especially brominated methans) with magnesium-hydrate has synergistic flame-retardant effect on PP. For example, 10 phr hexabromocyclododecane enables PP containing 80 phr magnesiumhydrate to increase its OI to 34 %, flame-retardant grade of PP-com-ples rises from GB4 609- 84/FV-2 to GB4 609-84/FV-O correspondingly. The mechanism of synergistic flame-retardant effect was studied emphatically. We consider that alkalinous magnesium -hydrate promotes the separation of HBr from brominated methan,HBr reacts with MgO, one of decomposition products of Mg(OH)2,to form MgB2, and the latter reacts with steam,another one of de-compositon products of Mg(OH)2 to form HBr again. Thus stagnant time of HBr at the burning re-gion is prolonged. These are the reasons to produce synergistic flame-retardant effect.
