| Abstract: | Some experimental results of the stress intensity factor K_1 are obtained for the firsttime by the photoelastic method for a radial crack in a finite circular plate or in the planeannular region. The experimental results meet with the theoretical values. The methodfor experimental solutions given in this paper is of universal significance and can be veryUseful for solving practical engineering problems. |
