Starting from the angle of the collection and utilization of the back issues in the library, this paper designs a formatting method for the journal spine title by using Word software, and creates the style of journal spine for reducing the unnecessary repeating labor during the bound journal editorial process and being easier to the shelving management of journals and to readers＇ reading.
