湖州特色发展的路径研究

湖州地处浙江省杭嘉湖平原西陲，是长三角连接中西部的重要节点城市，是沪、杭、宁三大城市的共同腹地。湖州自古就有“丝绸之府、鱼米之乡、文化之邦”的美誉，是中国丝绸文化、茶文化和湖笔书画文化的重要发祥地之一。近年来，湖州人民以科学发展观为统领，以现代化生态型滨湖大城市为总目标，勇于探索，大胆创新，走出了一条“富饶、秀美、宜居、乐活”的特色发展之路，城乡面貌发生了可喜的变化。

A Study of the Development Path with Huzhou Characteristics

Huzhou, located in the west of the Hang- Jia- Hu Plain in Zhejiang Province, is an im- portant node city of the Yangtze River Delta which connects the Midwest area and is the common hinter- land of the cities of Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo. It has had the reputation of birthplace and home of silk, land of fish and rice, and a nation rich in cultural traditions since ancient times, and it is one of the essential birthplaces of the Chinese cultures of silk, tea and Huzhou writing brush painting and calli- graphy. Recently, the people of Huzhou, who are brave to explore and bold to innovate, have been led with scientific outlook on development and are mainly aiming at establishing a modern ecological city of lakeshore. As a result, they have hewed out a developmental route with the distinguishing features of being rich, beautiful, livable and joyful. And it has resulted in a gratifying change of the appearance of urban and rural areas.
